Care Instructions

Care for your Bread Knife
This blade is made from hardened carbon steel, NOT stainless steel.
The carbon steel has a sharper longer lasting edge. However they can be susceptible to rust, if care is not taken. Causes of this is usually if the blade is in contact with water and salt or other corrosive materials. To prevent this from happening, simply apply some cooking oil to the blade using a paper towel. This will help to seal the blade and prevent corrosion.
