Traditionally hand-turned from your choice of Rimu, Macrocarpa or Ancient Kauri
This cute, traditional-styled stool has 3 legs making it stable on unlevel ground, as its name suggests, it was traditionally designed to sit on whilst milking. It is comfortable with a 300mm diameter dished seat and finished with natural wood oil.
The combination of strength and beauty is achieved by quality accurate machining and skilled hand craftsmanship.
Common Uses Include:
- Children's stool or for adults to sit on while playing with children on the floor.
- Foyer stool for sitting on while taking on and off shoes
- Fireplace stool great for sitting on while lighting, cleaning and stoking, or keeping warm by the fire.
- Or traditionally as a milking stool
- Chinese tea stool
- These stools are designed for sitting on, as they have three legs they are a bit unstable for standing on.
