Premium NZ Heart Rimu

We use only NZ Heart Rimu — the dense, richly coloured heartwood from the centre of the tree. Renowned for its darker, streaked grain and superior strength, Heart Rimu is harder, more durable, and more visually striking than timber from the outer sections of the tree.

Our Rimu is sustainably sourced from recovered wind-thrown trees, reclaimed logs, and recycled timber. Much of the timber originates from New Zealand’s West Coast, where fallen trees are carefully recovered following major weather events, giving this remarkable native timber a second life.
